16 Aug Independence Day
As true patriots of our country and as true Jyoti Nivaites the college celebrated Independence Day that coincides with the Congregation day. 15th August was a twin celebration in the college. The National Flag was hoisted in the college sports field at 8. 45 AM by the Chief Guest of the day Air Vice Marshal D C Agarwal. This was followed by a cultural programme in which, our students’ patriotic sense was staged through various forms of art, like Music, dance etc. The Chief Guest spoke reiterating the importance of Independence Day to the Indians. The Congregation Day, one of the important days in our College history was meaningfully celebrated by staging a play on the beginning of the congregation by the College Drama Club, Nexus.
First term examination was conducted for both 1st and 2nd PU from 22nd August to 28th August; the first term exam was conducted for 50marks. The non- teaching staff are very important members of the JNC family, they work every day, so sincerely to provide a favorable environment for students to learn in this temple of learning. While students were engaged in mid-term examination, an orientation programme was conducted for them, on the 28th August.
