This Academic Year began with 69 new, energetic cadets looking forward to complete their two years of NCC with loyalty and hard work. 31 Second Year Cadets were entrusted with training these 69 enthusiastic new juniors in NCC.

Over the years, NCC Cadets at JNC have been doing very well both in academics and in various NCC activities. Likewise rigorous training, participation in adventure activities and exposure to multi – cultural environment create a sense of responsibility in Cadets. 25 cadets from JNC were a part of the Independence Day Parade at Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground, Bangalore. We were the winners for the March Past at Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground. 15 cadets attended national trekking expedition camp along with JUO Deepika. Jain L as senior in May. In June 9 cadets attended talsanic camp shooting camp held at tumkur where 1 cadet got selected for the next phase. In July, August and September 4 cadets attended talsanic shooting camp, 2 cadets attended inter group competition tsc Belgaum CDT. Rupasanjana asaenior and 25 cadets attended CATC camp at Daddabalapur and 8 cadets attended IUC (RDC) at Dodaballapur and won 1st place in drill 2nd in cross – country and over all championship respectively.

Sgt. Ashika. S attended National Integration Camp held at Srinagar and won 1 silver and 2 bronze medal. 25 cadets participated in Independence Day parade held at Maniksha parade ground and won 3rd place

International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking awareness programme was held and various competitions were held on 26th July. Kormangala cleaning camping was held on 28th September in collaboration with AURA club to create awareness about waste segregation and cleanliness.

35 Cadets attended JNV CATC camp Doddabalapur where SUO. Anjum Jahagirdar lead 250 cadets and 7 cadets were selected for guard of honour. JNC cadets were winners of the camp.

2 of our cadets participated in Republic Day parade 2013 where Cdt. Rajsri Ramakrishana was a part of parade on Rajpath and was awarded as the best MC and Cdt. Sona was a part of PM rally.


These achievements would not have been possible without the efforts of our NCC officer ANO Roopa Rani H.K. She received her training at the NCC Officers Training Academy, Gwalior. She was awarded Comdit’s Gold medal for commanding parade during POP grading with ‘A’ grade.
