World AIDS Day
World AIDS day was commemorated on December 1st 2022, with a special assembly organised by the AICUF unit of JNPUC. The assembly included an informative and enlightening talk, creating awareness among students about AIDS, its prevention and treatment by Dr. Sitavi Yathinder, Dean of Sciences
Jyoti Nivas College (Autonomous). The students portrayed the various aspects of the deadly disease through mime, drama and song, in keeping with the theme of the World Health Organisation, ‘Equalize’. Red ribbons were sold to students and funds collected were donated to an AIDS centre.
