On August 14, 2023, the JNC campus celebrated its 76th year of Indian independence and the 181st year of the Congregation Day of the Sisters of St Joseph of Tarbes, who manage JNC institutes. Students donned ethnic attire for this special occasion. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Pallavi Mohapatra, Director HR Zluri and an Indian Air Force helicopter pilot, graced the celebration. Cultural performances highlighted themes like honoring soldiers and women achievers. The JNPUC NCC crew paid tribute to women soldiers. Nexus, the drama club, staged a play depicting the congregation's genesis. Ms. Preethi Noronha organized a felicitation for the SJT sisters. The Chief Guest inspired students to stay focused and pursue opportunities. The principal encouraged students to make a positive impact on society. The program concluded with the singing of the National Anthem and refreshments, marking a successful and emotional celebration.
