The Department of English of Jyoti Nivas Pre- University college, is a vibrant and energetic team of five young, dynamic, and talented individuals. We are committed to fostering a deep appreciation for English literature, English language, and creative expression. Our collective expertise spans diverse literary traditions, critical theories, and writing styles, enabling us to inspire and engage students in meaningful academic and creative endeavors. Together, we strive to create a stimulating environment that encourages intellectual growth, critical thinking, and a passion for the English language and Literature.
The Department of English proudly supports the Seshat English Literary Club, an energetic group of 6 students as its union members, that brings together those with a passion for literature and language. The club is guided by the following principles:
