The Ekyam Club had a vibrant and eventful year, hosting a series of competitions and cultural celebrations that encouraged students from various streams to showcase their talents and creativity. The club was under the care and guidance of Mrs. Karuna Nayak and Mrs. Hena Kausar. Suhani Arora was selected as the President of the club, Riya Mona as the Vice-President, and Zoya Shariff and Hafiza Begum as the Secretary and Joint Secretary, respectively.
On 3rd August 2024,the club organized its inaugural event called “Nibandh Lekhan” in honor of Maithilisharan Gupt Jayanti. Students from both 1st and 2nd PUC participated enthusiastically. The competition provided a platform for students to demonstrate their writing abilities and command on the language.
On the 22nd of August 2024, the club held a poetry recitation competition where students
passionately recited the famous poem “Jhansi Ki Rani” by
Subhadra Kumari Chauhan. The participants brought the emotions of the poem to life with their
powerful renditions.
Our students also excelled in
the PES PU Fest held on the 23rd and 24th of August 2024 . Usha Rajpurohit secured 2nd place in the
Kavita Vachan competition, while Shivyanshi won 3rd place in the Hindi RJ Event.
“CHIPPI VIRAASATE” an event held during Artemis,the
intercollegiate fest, brought together Hindi enthusiasts from colleges across the city. The event
celebrated the mastery of the Hindi language and the transformative power of literature, with Dr.
Subhadra Kumari as the judge for the event.
In honor of Hindi Diwas on the 14th of September 2024, the Ekyam Club extended the celebrations into
a full week of events. Three exciting competitions were organized to celebrate the richness of
Indian culture.
On the 17th of September 2024,the Mehendi Competition- “SAJAVAT KI LEHAR” showcased students’ artistic skills as they crafted intricate mehendi designs.
On the 19th of September 2024,the Rangoli Competition-“RANGO KI MEHFIL” showcased students creating vibrant, colorful rangoli patterns that promoted creativity and teamwork.
The week concluded with the Fireless Cooking Competition-“ZAAYKA RANGMANCH”,where students displayed their culinary talents by preparing mouth-watering dishes without using fire, focusing on taste, presentation, and creativity.
Throughout the year, Ekyam Club successfully provided a platform for
students to engage with the Hindi language and culture, fostering
creativity and talent in the process.
