Sports day 2025 was held on 11th November, which captured the exuberant spirit of the students of JNPUC, with over 400 students participating in the Opening March Past Ceremony in 13 teams marching in vibrant colours with rigorous discipline and visible synchronicity. It was truly a sight to witness the Sports representatives of the classes take oath to uphold the rules and regulations of the games and promote a spirit of sportsmanship. The event was made more special with the presence of our Chief guest Ms. Swetha N, an international level Indian women’s Volleyball player who graced the occasion and handed over the prizes. The March Past ceremony was judged by Subedar Major S David Raju who awarded I & II PCMB B as Best Marching class and I & II SEBA A as Runners up. The overall results of VIRIYA 2025 were as follows: II PCMB D were declared as Winners in Kho Kho, with II SEBA A taking the Runners-up spot. In Tug o War, II HESP claimed victory over II CEBA. In Football, II HESP beat I PCMB C to emerge Winners and in the inter-class Throwball tournament II PCMB A took the title, while II SEBA C finished as Runners -up. The major highlight was the class of II HESP securing the Overall Championship title at ‘Viriya 2025’ This winning momentum extended to the members of the faculty as well, with the members of various staff teams winning the Viriya Staff events of Tug o War, Athletics, Shot Putt, Basketball and Throwball held in August 2025.
