A session on Wellbeing & Counselling Support was organized by the Counselling Department on 13th June 2025 at 11:30 AM in the college auditorium. Facilitated by Ms. Nandini P and Ms. Shynu KS, the session aimed to raise awareness about mental health and promote counselling support among students. The facilitators addressed the emotional, psychological, and social aspects of mental health, highlighting common student concerns such as stress, anxiety, exam pressure, and homesickness. They also shared simple self-care practices like regular exercise, digital detox, adequate sleep, and healthy conversations. Myths and stigmas around counselling were dispelled, and the concept of counselling was defined as a safe, supportive, and confidential space. Students were guided on when and why to seek help, reassured about the confidentiality policy, and informed about walk-in and appointment-based access to campus counsellors. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating, sharing real-life concerns, and engaging in meaningful dialogue in a reflective atmosphere.
