Newspaper Writing Competition

Newspaper Writing Competition OrganizedThe Hindi Club "Ekyam" organized a "Newspaper Writing Competition" on 30 July 2026 as its very first activity. The theme of the competition was the "Jantar Mantar Education Movement," chosen because it is a significant ongoing event. The competition was held from 2:45 PM to 3:20 PM for a total duration of 35 minutes. Through this topic, students got an opportunity to gather information about the movement and present their views creatively.
A large number of students enthusiastically participated in this competition and produced excellent write-ups showcasing their creativity. Through this activity, students gained the opportunity to learn newspaper writing, think about new topics, and express their thoughts effectively. Both students and teachers learned a lot from this event.
The program was guided by Mrs. Karuna Nayak, Mrs. Hena Kausar, and Mrs. Prachi Gupta. This event proved helpful in boosting students' creativity and increasing their interest in the Hindi language.

Vigyapan Yudh Pratiyogita

The Hindi Club “EKYAM” organized its second event, “Vigyapan Yudh Pratiyogita” (Advertisement War Competition), on 10 August 2026, from 2:40 PM to 3:30 PM (50 minutes). The event was conducted entirely in Hindi as a group activity under the guidance of Mrs. Karuna Nayak (HOD), Mrs. Hena Kausar, and Mrs. Prachi Gupta.
Participants created advertisements for imaginative products such as an Invisible Umbrella, a Clock That Turns Back Time, Lie-Detecting Glasses, a Cream That Helps You Befriend Mosquitoes, and a Toothpaste That Enhances Your Smile. The participants showcased remarkable creativity, teamwork, humour, and confidence, making the event lively and engaging while highly impressing the teachers.
The advertising acts were judged by Mrs. Titli Basu from the Department of French, Mrs. Hena Kausar and Mrs. Prachi Gupta from the Department of Hindi.
