Newspaper Writing Competition
Newspaper Writing Competition OrganizedThe Hindi Club "Ekyam" organized a "Newspaper Writing Competition" on 30 July 2026 as its very first activity. The theme of the competition was the "Jantar Mantar Education Movement," chosen because it is a significant ongoing event. The competition was held from 2:45 PM to 3:20 PM for a total duration of 35 minutes. Through this topic, students got an opportunity to gather information about the movement and present their views creatively.
A large number of students enthusiastically participated in this competition and produced excellent write-ups showcasing their creativity. Through this activity, students gained the opportunity to learn newspaper writing, think about new topics, and express their thoughts effectively. Both students and teachers learned a lot from this event.
The program was guided by Mrs. Karuna Nayak, Mrs. Hena Kausar, and Mrs. Prachi Gupta. This event proved helpful in boosting students' creativity and increasing their interest in the Hindi language.

Vigyapan Yudh Pratiyogita
The Hindi Club “EKYAM” organized its second event, “Vigyapan Yudh Pratiyogita” (Advertisement War Competition), on 10 August 2026, from 2:40 PM to 3:30 PM (50 minutes). The event was conducted entirely in Hindi as a group activity under the guidance of Mrs. Karuna Nayak (HOD), Mrs. Hena Kausar, and Mrs. Prachi Gupta.
Participants created advertisements for imaginative products such as an Invisible Umbrella, a Clock That Turns Back Time, Lie-Detecting Glasses, a Cream That Helps You Befriend Mosquitoes, and a Toothpaste That Enhances Your Smile. The participants showcased remarkable creativity, teamwork, humour, and confidence, making the event lively and engaging while highly impressing the teachers.
The advertising acts were judged by Mrs. Titli Basu from the Department of French, Mrs. Hena Kausar and Mrs. Prachi Gupta from the Department of Hindi.

COLLAGE MAKING COMPETITION
The Hindi Club “EKYAM” successfully organised its third event, “Chitr Sanyojan Pratiyogita” (Collage Making Competition), on 15 September 2026, from 2:40 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. The event was conducted as a group competition, with Indian Culture and Hindi Literature as the given themes.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who displayed their creativity and imagination through colourful and thoughtfully designed collages. The participants worked together with great interest and teamwork, presenting their ideas in an artistic and meaningful manner.
The event was guided and judged by Mrs. Hena Kausar, Mrs. Prachi Gupta, and Mrs Prashantini. Their guidance and evaluation added great value to the competition. The event proved to be a great success, providing students with an enjoyable opportunity to explore their creativity while celebrating Indian culture and the richness of Hindi literature.

Hindi Diwas Celebration
The Hindi Club “EKYAM” organised a special assembly on 15 September 2026 to celebrate Hindi Diwas and highlight the importance of the Hindi language. The assembly aimed to create awareness among students about the rich cultural and literary heritage associated with Hindi and encouraged everyone to take pride in our national language.
The programme included an informative presentation by the students on the significance of Hindi, its rich cultural and literary heritage, and the importance of respecting and preserving our language. Students were encouraged to appreciate Hindi and its role in bringing people and cultures together. As part of the celebration, the Hindi Club also beautifully decorated the notice board with creative and informative displays related to Hindi Diwas, adding colour and enthusiasm to the occasion.
The event was successfully organised with the valuable guidance and support of Mrs. Hena Kausar, Mrs. Prachi Gupta and Mrs. Prashantini. Their encouragement played an important role in making the celebration meaningful and successful.
