  • Investiture Ceremony 2026

    The Investiture Ceremony 2026–2027 was held with great pride and solemnity on 9 July 2026 in the Jyoti Auditorium. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council, Class Representatives, Sports and Cultural Representatives, Club Council Members, and Art Committee Members into their leadership roles. Celebrated during the Diamond Jubilee Year of Jyoti Nivas Pre-University College, the occasion held special significance in the institution's history. The Chief Guest, Ms. Manasa Iyer, alumna of the 2013–2015 batch and Company Secretary at Deloitte, inspired the student leaders to lead with integrity, confidence, humility, and a spirit of selfless service. The ceremony was graced by Sr. Nalini Cruz, Dr. Sr. Mary Louisa Sebastian, Sr. Nathalia D'Souza, Dr. Sr. Sagaya Mary B., Sr. Anna Maria, Sr. Sajitha Jose, Dr. Sr. Selva, and Sr. Sintea Rebello. The Student Council 2026–2027 comprises: - President: Arkka Prakash - Vice President: Akshara - Cultural Secretary: Nithyashree U. - Sports Secretary: Shirin Sahana Fernando - Assistant Cultural Secretary: Yusra Aslam Hussain - Assistant Sports Secretary: Anika Teja Reddy A. The ceremony also witnessed the induction of the Club Councils, including AICUF, NSS, Geravasi Rangers, Scientia, Scipio, Artha, Ankura, Seshat, Ekyam, La Lumière, Mediora, and the Art Committee, reaffirming the college's commitment to nurturing leadership, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, academic excellence, cultural expression, and social responsibility. The college acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the Student Advisors—Mrs. Rekha P. Mathew, Mrs. Anthony Jasmin A., and Ms. Agnes Cathrine S.—for their guidance in mentoring the student leaders and ensuring the smooth conduct of the ceremony. The presence of the management, faculty, staff, parents, and students added to the dignity of the occasion. The ceremony concluded with the Oath-Taking Ceremony, where all office bearers pledged to uphold the values of discipline, dedication, integrity, and service. As Jyoti Nivas PU College celebrates its Diamond Jubilee Year, the newly inducted leaders begin their journey with a renewed commitment to carrying forward the institution's rich legacy through responsible and purposeful leadership.
