The campus of Jyoti Nivas Pre-University College was transformed into a vibrant confluence of talent, intellect, and creativity as it hosted the much-anticipated Intercollegiate Cultural Fest, Artemis 2026, on 28th and 29th August 2026. Held during the institution’s Diamond Jubilee year, marking its 60th year of educational service and excellence, the fest assumed an added significance, celebrating not only the spirit of youth but also the rich legacy of Jyoti Nivas Pre-University College. Guided by the theme “Festoria-The Festival of Kingdoms,” the fest was organised under the guidance of the Student Advisors and the Student Council, with the dedicated support of the event heads, volunteers, participants, production team, Art Committee, Mediora, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, Beats Battalion, and everyone who worked diligently behind the scenes. Their collective endeavour transformed the vision of Festoria into a celebration worthy of its occasion. The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from 40 colleges, with students competing across 37 events encompassing both cultural and academic disciplines. It provided students with a platform to showcase their abilities, connect with peers, forge friendships, and create lasting memories. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Yamuna Srinidhi, an accomplished actress and dancer from the Kannada film industry, whose presence added distinction and inspiration to the celebrations. Following two days of spirited competition, St. Claret PU College emerged as the Overall Champion, securing both the Overall Trophy and the Rolling Trophy, while Mount Carmel Pre-University College and St. Joseph’s Pre-University College were declared the Runners-up. The celebrations continued with two Musical Nights, featuring Mannat The Band on the first evening and Shameless Mani and Beat Gurus on the second. Beats Battalion enhanced the experience with their production expertise, bringing the vibrant spirit of Festoria to life. As the final notes of the Musical Nights faded and the festivities drew to a close, Artemis 2026 left behind not merely the memory of a successful event, but an enduring impression of a campus united in the celebration of sixty years of legacy and a new generation of possibilities.
