  • TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

    Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and gratitude. The day began with class-wise celebrations, where mentors joined their respective classes for a special celebration organised by the students. Later, all the teachers gathered and proceeded in a procession to the auditorium. The formal programme began with the Lighting and Passing of the Light of Legacy, led by Sr. Nalini Cruz, Manager of the Jyoti Nivas Community, Sr. Elsamma, Sr. Natalia D’Souza, Principal and Sr. Sintea Rebello, Administrator. The programme included the felicitation of teachers who had completed 15 years of service and departments that had achieved a 100% result in the previous year’s board examinations. The Drama Club presented a play, followed by performances by the Indian Dance Team and Western Dance Team. The Student Body presented the teachers with personalised jackets as a token of gratitude. The celebration also included the birthday celebration of Sr. Elsamma, Miss Agnes Catherine, and Mrs. Kochurani, who were greeted with warm wishes by the staff and students. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful celebration. Overall, the event was a meaningful tribute to the teachers for their dedication, guidance and service.
