The first Moral Philosophy session for the academic year 2025–26 was held on 17th May 2025 and set a thoughtful and engaging tone for the months ahead. The session featured Mrs. Josephine Devota, a certified Transactional Analyst and a Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst in Counselling, as the distinguished speaker. Mrs. Devota introduced the students to the foundational concepts of Transactional Analysis (TA), focusing specifically on the three ego states: Child, Adult, and Parent. Her interactive presentation helped students explore how these ego states influence our communication, relationships, and inner dialogue. Through real-life examples and reflective questions, she encouraged participants to observe their own behaviours and thought patterns through the lens of TA. The session not only provided valuable insights into human psychology but also highlighted the importance of self-awareness in moral and philosophical reasoning. Students responded enthusiastically, and the talk concluded with a lively Q&A session, demonstrating deep interest and engagement. Overall, the session was an enriching start to the Moral Philosophy series, laying a strong foundation for further exploration of the inner self and ethical values in the months to come.
