Non-Teaching Staff Orientation

The Non-Teaching Staff Orientation Programme was held on 25th July 2026 at Jyoti Nivas Pre-University College and was inaugurated by Sr. Nalini Cruz, Manager of Jyoti Nivas College, superior Jyoti Nivas College Community and Education Secretary of Bangalore Province, Sr. Nathalia D'Souza, Principal of Jyoti Nivas Pre-University College, and Sr. Sintea Rebello, Administrator, JNPUC. The programme brought together 24 non-teaching staff members for a day of reflection and learning, with Rev. Fr. Adarsh, OFM, serving as the resource person. Through a series of interactive sessions, participants reflected on the values and responsibilities of non-teaching staff in an educational institution. Rev. Fr. Adarsh emphasized the importance of effective time management, taking ownership of one's responsibilities, and carrying out every duty with love, commitment, and dedication. He also highlighted the value of teamwork, mutual respect, healthy peer relationships, and the core values that contribute to a positive and service-oriented work environment. A special session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act strengthened awareness of child safety, professional responsibility, and the role of every staff member in ensuring a safe and secure campus for students. The programme concluded with renewed commitment among the participants to teamwork, accountability, and excellence in service, making it a meaningful and enriching learning experience.
