  • The Superior General Visit

    Jyoti Nivas Pre-University College was overjoyed to welcome the Superior General, Sr. Jesús Cevallos, along with Sr. Juliana D'Souza, the Assistant Superior General, and Sr. Catherine Charles, the Provincial Superior to our institution. The various cultural teams performed a musical drama on Monday, the 30th of June, blending the richness of Indian culture with Spanish song-and-dance, the mother tongue of Sr. Jesús. The drama depicted the tremendous impact that the work of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes has had in the lives of innumerable women by providing them with the opportunity to learn and grow in an institution like Jyoti Nivas. In her address, Sister spoke about the importance of this inter-cultural harmony, of coming together despite our differences, which is what will make it possible for us to build each other up and move forward as a society.
